ZED x Clutch FAQ
Last updated May 14, 2026
Is ZED Champions ending?
Yes, Season 7 is the final season of ZED Champions and will end on May 24, 2026. Since ZED began with Season 0, this closes out eight total seasons. We’ll distribute the final rewards shortly after it ends.
Is ZED ending?
No. Only ZED Champions in its current form is ending, but the ZED IP is moving into a new chapter with our partner Clutch who is developing a casino-native racing experience alongside VHS. This marks one of the first times a major Web3 gaming IP is moving natively into an established casino platform.
Why Clutch?
Clutch is a crypto-native gaming platform combining casino, live sportsbook, and crypto trading in one stack, with thousands of live games, support for every major chain. For ZED, this is the perfect partner that already has every piece the next experience needs: live betting rails to run continuous racing markets, a player base that already understands ownership and odds, and a rewards layer that compounds the more you play. Most casinos have one of those things. Clutch has all three.
When will the ZED Casino launch?
The launch date is TBD and will be shared soon. Clutch and VHS are taking the time to make sure the product and player experience are ready before locking a public date.
What will the new game be?
The new experience is being designed around casino-speed horse racing, live betting, horse packs, ownership, seasonal leaderboards, and of course casino rewards. The longer-term vision includes global jackpots and broader casino partner access.
Will my existing horses transfer?
Unfortunately, existing ZED Champions horses will not transfer directly into the new casino game. The new product is being built with a different game structure, economy, and racing model, so a one-to-one horse transfer would not be possible.
That said, existing players will not be left behind. ZED Champions players will be eligible for launch rewards and perks in the new experience, including horse packs, bonus bets, and other Clutch-based player benefits. We will share more detail on how to claim those perks as we get closer to launch.
Will existing players receive anything?
Yes! Existing ZED players will be eligible for launch perks and reward bonuses, including things like horse packs, bonus bets, and other Clutch-based player benefits. Claim details will be shared later.
What happens to ReZED?
All remaining reZED will convert back to $ZED after the final season ends. The ZED Champions platform will remain live for an extended time for wallet withdrawals and support will continue throughout this process.
What happens to $ZED?
$ZED remains part of the broader roadmap, but we are taking our time with the details. VHS and Clutch will shape the future utility thoughtfully rather than rushing tokenomics into this announcement before the design is ready. More will be shared as the roadmap progresses.
We'll continue to update this FAQ with more frequent questions as they come up.
